Our Client offer a range of specialist interest media brands largely aimed at consumer or professional user audiences. Within the high readership/traffic users are professionals who use these brands in a B2B manner – senior individuals who are responsible for buying products and services on behalf of their businesses.

Success will be through the achievement of new business targets across the portfolio of technology, creative and telecoms industry brands, selling mixed solutions to include advertising, sponsorship, research, networking, events and other digital and online activities

 

The Opportunity

The successful individual will work closely with all other members of the sales team, the Head of Sales and the Managing Director (B2B), in order to identify new business opportunities from existing and new accounts through accurate sales planning and account development.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Identify new and existing business opportunities through analysis of client lists and activity in the relevant sectors
  • Maximising revenues through existing client accounts
  • Build brand rapport through face to face contact with clients
  • Solution based sell spanning all media platforms
  • Represent the company’s market leading brands at internal and external industry events and functions

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience within B2B sales environment (Preferably tech, creative or telecoms sector, but not exclusive)
  • Strong experience in selling all media, including extensive knowledge of digital
  • Ability to manage an extensive portfolio of clients and demonstrating strategic development 
of accounts
  • Continuous success in achieving and exceeding targets
  • Ability to engage face to face with key decision makers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of work
