Job Title: Agency Sales Manager

Our client is an award winning UK based advertising technology company developing solutions to improve the Internet by making advertising more relevant for people. We have built technology that understands consumer data in real-time to enable brands to find the most relevant people and show them the most relevant adverts.
Key responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire sales opportunities
  • Maximise revenue growth with advertising agencies, insuring a broad and regular market coverage
  • Prospect, evaluate and identify important business opportunities
  • Engage with agency decision makers at all levels
  • Sales presentations to large groups with varying degrees of seniority
  • Develop winning selling strategies and proposals, adjusting sales tactics depending on needs
  • Together with sales execs plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
  • Develop and implement tactical sales initiatives in coordination with the marketing team
  • Work closely with account management to provide superior performance and customer service, and grow repeat business
  • Contribute to a culture focused on performance, positive thinking and active collaboration with the rest of the company

 

Key skills/experience

  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in digital ad sales
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver revenue over and above target
  • In-depth knowledge and contacts with UK media agencies
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics, campaign planning and buying
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign, technology, metrics and analysis
  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospection, negotiation and the ability to sell based on value rather than price
  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting and campaign optimisation
