Job Description

The Opportunity:

The principal responsibility of the Sales Manager is selling advertising sponsorships and partnerships across the client’s digital portfolio to agencies and clients based in the UK.

The person will be tasked with meeting and exceeding a sales target, generating excellent agency and client relationships and developing compelling sales arguments and creative solutions to briefs.

Reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets as agreed with Sales Director
Managing and representing agreed key clients including meeting targets for both agency and client facing
Involves selling standard advertising, sponsorship and partnership and programmatic opportunities
Accurate forecasting with reports to senior management
Winning new clients and business with regular proactive presentations

Desired Skills & Experience

Your Skills and Experience

Experience in advertising sales is essential (with online experience being advantageous)
Knowledge of internet technologies and the online advertising sales industry
Experience in dealing with major advertising agencies and marketing clients
The ability to apply creative solutions to advertising briefs and create strong bespoke sales packages will be important in a highly competitive marketplace.
A persistent, thick-skinned sales person – this is not an easy sell
