Accountabilities

- To drive the client’s trading business in terms of display revenues across print and digital        channels through proactive ideas, new business wins, product development and any other  appropriate means.

- Responsible for maximising revenues print and digital revenues from agency/client/category      patch

- To grow share and new business from allocated agency/client/category patch

- Full management & servicing of agency patch (print and digital) to enable the development of    deep relationships with relevant agency contacts,

- Client contacts – develop strong relationships at all levels of buying influence with specific focus on all key automotive accounts with spend potential for our client

- Maintenance and understanding of the revenue pipeline and ad delivery to enable accurate forecasting & budgeting, both skills that are tuned to the needs of the client’s business

- Direct line management of Digital Sales Planner. Responsible for their day to day job performance, including regular 1-2-1 meetings, appraisals & professional development

- Extensive knowledge of major media agencies at a minimum of Manager level across  Planning, Buying & Comms teams, all with a strong digital emphasis

- Monitor digital market trends, striving to develop exciting & market leading solutions

- Demonstrate a creative sales flair so as to leverage the full range of our client’s commercial opportunities

- On going competitor analysis, press & digital for relevant agencies. Develop a strong understanding of competitor brands across print & online

- Ideally a passion and knowledge of the UK motoring industry/market

- Strong team player who leads by example and encourages collaboration to achieve the best results

- Ability to devise, draft and implement annual sales plans & strategy with quarterly updates & revisions

-  Work closely with the editorial on planning new initiatives and proactive sales ideas

-  Work closely with design and product development on new digital products

-  Responsible for all digital sales collateral and development of sales story

-  Work closely with design team on best in class presentations and pitches
