Job Description

• Lead day to day management of all ad operations activities, be the primary contact and coordinator for the ad ops team and ad-tech systems

• Manage and develop the ad ops team; provide support, objectives, oversight and training

• Be the knowledge lead for all ad ops practices and processes; expand and communicate expertise both within the team and between departments

• Define and implement campaign strategies for optimal setup, management and results in accordance with publisher and technical requirements, and client KPIs

• Liaise with Publishing, Creative and Analytics teams to ensure proper campaign setup, delivery and optimisation against KPIs

• First point of escalation for all technical problems and troubleshooting including tag implementation issues, data anomalies and discrepancies

• Regularly review workflow and QA procedure to a high standard of operational effectiveness, accuracy and efficiency

Skills and Requirements

• In depth ad operations and campaign management experience, a strong knowledge of industry norms and best practice

• Comprehensive buy side operations experience including both direct and programmatic channels, adservers (especially DCM), creative platforms, and analytics/tracking solutions

• Experience working with and optimising against viewability and brand safe metrics from vendors like Moat, IAS and Doubleverify

• Experience in managing a team and the ability to organise, prioritise and delegate work as appropriate

• Creative thinker and problem solver with an analytic mindset

• Ability to troubleshoot tags, set ups and discrepancies using a tools such as http proxies like Charles, browser developer console, etc

• Familiarity with mobile advertising concepts and requirements

• Excellent data analysis skills and advanced proficiency in Excel

• Proficiency in HTML and Javascript highly advantageous

• Experience of sell side ad operations advantageous

We are looking for a Head of Ad Operations to take over management of and responsibility for the ad operations side of the business. You will have responsibility for all ad ops activities including leading the team; defining, reviewing and improving workflow and processes; administration of ad tech systems; and definition and implementation of technical campaign strategies.
