Job Description

As a Commercial Lead you will be responsible for delivering substantial revenues across some of the most innovative, forward thinking and market leading technology events on the planet. In line with our events direction and supported by the best content and most networked directors in the industry, you will lead the way in delivering complex sponsorship solutions to an almost endless supply of top quality tech firms across multiple targeted technology tracks.

A commercially astute and intelligent sales lead with impeccable networking skills bringing a work hard play hard ethic into a knowledgeable, and experienced team. The ideal candidate will have experience in attacking both mature and emerging markets with a clear and concise understanding of how to sell to and differentiate between the two.
Understanding your client’s explicit business needs and requirements in fast moving market is essential to the role. You will grow, develop and manage all of your secured accounts in order to fully develop a partner based relationship.

A minimum of 5 years’ event sales experience, ideally from events background
High standard of interpersonal skills, professional confidence and tenacity
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong sense of customer service and client management
Ability to communicate technical information to all audiences
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM, Databases
Fluent in required languages (English written and spoken at professional level)
University educated or equivalent

In line with the above criteria, you will be expected to:
Generate revenue and sales through development and maintenance of tactical and strategic relationships with clients
Provide a high level of customer service at all times
Ensure all leads and contacts are followed up in a timely and professional manner
Apply new Sales processes in the Regional Market
Escalate operational issues impacted by new processes
Assist sales director to implement projects
Apply new Sales initiatives
Support and work in collaboration with the Marketing, Production Delegate and Operations teams
